The First weekend
The first weekend has officially passed and I am counting down the days till i go back home!! I know I am starting a bit early this time round.I spent the weekend visiting fremantle, walking around the markets and finally, finally tasting the crepes that I have been craving for since the last time I was here. I had the ricotta cheese and contreau while scott had the lemon and sugar cinnamon. It was a bit upsetting that he didn't like it haha!! I think he was a bit dissapointed with the crepes as I have been going on about it since forever!! ah well!!
Had cicerellos for lunch, not very tasty, no idea why everyone recommends it!! and I still don't believe you have to pay for ketcup and tartar sauce. We had the seafood platter which came with (thank god) one small pack of tartar sauce!! Had cold rock on the way back too!! somehow I reckon that things just don't taste as nice the second time round when you go back. I think because we all remember how nice it tasted, or rather we exaggerate how nice and yummy the food was and ultimately end up disssapointing ourselves when we actually try it again!!
ok, my first purchase of my trip is : two bags of coffee beans which I iwll have to grind them at home!! my grandma loves coffee and the smell was just overempowering, I oculdn't helo but succumb to the sweet roasted smell of Kakula brother's coffee bean collection! that shop is just fantastic, I have yet to visit the one at northbridge though!
We're getting a car tomorrow, so if you see a toyota hatch with the "no birds" sign, try to see if it's me behind the wheel!! can't wait for the weekend, headin down to margaret river for the weekend!! Wine!!!!! and cheese and my wonderful chocolate!!!
